Pick your choice and do it right !

A leader or an icon for certain people may defer according to their way of looking at the attributes that the particular person had. Sometimes, they are not looking at the overall quality that they had in them but rather looking at the certain quality that that person had when dealing with certain circumstances and that quality is something that could not be govern but being built in them since they are little or rather we could say that they are born with it. Belong to a certain standard they are able to establish the quality that they had for the better of the community and their country. Nevertheless, it is not that they are perfect in every aspect but they are able to show an awesome performance that no other man could do. Clearly, the negative quality that they have is being defeated by the more fort forward quality such as determinism, persuasive, strong self-present, firm with their stand, reliable and trustworthy, and consistent.

In the class today, we were talking and sharing ideas about their idol or role model which they admired. Some of the names being mentioned were Tun Dr Mahathir, Prophet Muhammad, Nelson Mandela, Yasmin Ahmad and the sultan apart from their parents. These names to me were a great leader and a very much an ideal idol for everyone. This is because their voice is being heard all over the world and they put their words in such way that it persuades each and every member of the hall. Especially when talking about our Prophet and Tun Dr Mahathir. Among other leaders of the world throughout decades, they had been listed as among the most influential leaders of all time. Ranked as the first in the list, our Prophet shows great courage and determination in expanding Islam to the world. Born among the worst civilization, Prophet Muhammad shows great leadership and an admirable personality in which captures many ‘tyrant soul’ of his time. He was able to plan a lot of things that no other normal human would able think of and accomplish. In a harsh way of saying, our Prophet was able to pull any string and get out alive. If any of you would like to know more about his personality and the supreme quality that he has that none of us had, I would suggest you to read the book about the Prophet Muhammad biography.

The other good leader that knows that he is doing is our own ex- Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad. He has a great vision as some of us don’t have. It was because of him, Malaysia develop rapidly all this years. So, choose anyone to be your idol or mentor but make sure that you are able to keep up to that quality you’ve been aiming. Me? Other issues would be rooming my mind.

Two days ago was mine presentation for Literature class. I did not really prepared for it as I had my affairs first rather than focusing on the presentation which will help me with my career later. Even the whole afternoon I was on net and playing CityVille on facebook. It was so inappropriate for me to do such thing. Well, on that night I was supposed to deliver an input about any literary elements that the poem (which I can choose from the list of poem given) has. My focussed was on the symbols that is being inserted between the lines of the poem in the form of noun/ noun phrase. 

My simple plan was introducing the author of the poem, and my set induction was by generating ideas from the students from the word 'DEATH'. And I am glad because I am able to dig out the words and the expression that I wanted the students to come out with. Later I showed the students a power point presentation to the students showing some facts about the author (Miss Emily Dickinson) to the students. In one of the slide, I put two same point so that the students will acknowledge that fact. it is actually govern the students schemata on why did the author wrote such poem and why is that the poem is being written in such way. Never try to be far from what I am able to handle I then showed the students on the matter of the lesson on that day which is 'SYMBOLISM'.

Some of the students were already familiar with the term therefore I gave a brief explanation about it and move on with the lesson by building the students familiarity with symbolism. I prepared them pictures which should or able to generate their thinking skills and their stigma towards what the picture appeared to them. It was a good try I would say because looking at the way that the students reaction, this was to me is another way to teach/ familiarize/ feed them with vocabulary. It was very interesting when they are able to not just give what can they seen from the picture but to justify why is it represent such quality. Yet, it was a little mistake being done while implementing this method as I took a lot of time with the pictures. I should have just showed them three or four pictures for them to familiarize with symbolism. 

After I had finished with that, I continue the lesson by asking the students to read through the poem one time and together as a class one time. Then, I ask them to get into five groups and try to attempt the task given to them. In the respective group, they need to identify the noun that is being used in the stanza which later been given to them. All of this noun represent something which is valuable for them to see the symbolization that occurs within the persona's mind. This is also to refer back to the theme of the poem which is acceptance of death. Some did get it right and some did not able to track the whole noun inside the stanza which is to be expected. Then I asked them to give explanation on what does the noun represent and why did they see it in such way. To be honest, I did get positive feedback and bright answers from the students which means the input stage that i'd prepared for them just now works its magic. 

The only thing that was not to be expected was my rotten and dry language command. Lord, if someone from other institute heard it, they would laugh and mock at me. It was a disaster and pathetic. I really need to be more careful and more aware of what is being utter so that I would not at the same level with the real students that I am about to encounter later in school. I am so sad with where I am now in using the language. HELP !!!

Material Development

As a teacher, material development is something that is crutial and important yet not being recognised by many educators out there. As simple as making the students to read and answer simple questions based on the material prepared for the students to simplifying the material given would be something should be taken into big consideration of how and what to be taught to the students. Quite a bizzare differences between the material that is being prepared by the teacher for the students and the ready prepared text by the school. As a responsible and dedicated teacher, one should be considering the fact that his/her students' ability in analysing and interpreting things would be a huge differents from one another. Therefore, material should be prepared accordingly to cater the students ability and their performance. For me, the things that should be taken into consideration is :

         :: The students' prior knowledge
         :: The students' performance
         :: The students' interest
         :: The students' environment
         :: The students' language ability and capacity
         :: The material access
         :: The students' religion and race

If a teacher is able to catch up to the 6 criteria that I had listed in the above, the material that is being prepared for the students would be the best activity which suits the students in all aspect. Most teacher prepared their material judging by the way students perform in their examination. That would be something that is not fair for the students development towards their cognitive improment where it should be more on developing their cognitive improvement by providing the students with good input, good material and good suplemantary which would enable them to walk on this earth proudly as a educated human being.

The approach that is being inculcated with the teaching also plays an important role in getting the students to get to what the teacher had set for them. In order to do so, the teacher should be able to interact and give feedback towards the students reaction including verbal and non-verbal. Usually, the utmost crutial thing is the students' non-verbal reaction which greatly provide the teacher with the gist of how her/his teaching went on. Nothing would be matter if you are unable to detect the students' problem while teaching them. Indeed that grades make a good comparison between good teacher and excellent teacher. If I were to choose, i would rather prefer being as a good teacher rather than excellent teacher because a good teacher takes care of the students' development and well being. It would be much or way better to have all of the students to pass the examination but with extra information with them and real life communication knowledge rather than having a lot of grade A and at the same time there is a failure also.

Material development is important to the students because it could help them develop their communication skills and also meet their field of interest in which should be discovered by the teacher him/her-self. This is where the students explore what is their interest and know what they are capable of with what they want to do for their career. Its a way to motivate the students to love english language.

If a material that is being prepared by the teacher is just meant for the students to pass their examination then it would not be something that is meaningful and come in handy to the students. Why not just drill them rather than giving them craps that they don't even like because it will just make them becoming a passive students. My lecturer used to say that students nowadays are no far from zombies. This is because they were being mouthfeed every single time. If this continue to happen in the future, our society would be passive, lazy and undevelop.

English go rotten

The last 5days had been quite a bench mark for some people including myself. After 5 and a half years dedicating ourselves in learning and benefiting English for our daily usage and also for our career sake, things turn out to be quite a disaster when we start to open our mouth.

The use of article is no more relevant and yet to be acknowledge anymore as if it was the least important aspect in the language. Who to be blame? Well actually none other than yourself frankly. Praise to Almighty that he gave me brain to realize that I am as worse as a teen that is just starting to know the language rather than a guy who already known the language for quite sometimes. I really need to rethink my decision on educating others with my situation at the moment. Maybe it is true that I need to be more into the language in future rather than knowing what is inside the language. Practicing it would be one of the way that would lead to my realization of how corrupted my English usage.

The last 3 days, my colleague had been a disgrace to the class society as he had been using the language without any articles. That shows how insensitive he is towards the language that he had been uttering all this while. Living in others hard work could be the reason for this to happen to him. Supremacy that he had achieved all this while was actually thanks to this one person that had been suffering physically and emotionally dedicating herself by doing and clearing the path for him hence putting where he is now.


This is one of the factors that contribute to the students corruption. Well, frankly it is not just about him. I am too need to be more aware of these things although I did not have any 'assistant' towards where I am right now yet I should be more just to know and use the language. Educating students is not an easy work. You are carving their potential and 'obsession' towards learning and appreciating the language. Clearly, there is still a lot to be consumed in order to be at the level of good in the language. There is a need to be sensitive upon emitting the language out of yourself.

New star

First of all Happy New Year!! I don't think that it is too late to say so.. None of my plan was a success. 2010 to me full with sad memoir. A lot of thing went wrong last year... Clearly i don't have to do anything or get my self into any trouble to met with misery.

Well talking about new year, i got to know that this one smart fellow had done something that i thought i am going to do it. He, actually went to the ministry and file a complain about our terrible institution condition. Well, its all negative opinions i would say. Is he a hero? Well such heroic act will make him suffer in a way and i'm sure of that.

This year it is more than luck that i need. I need attention, care and also devotion. And i need to be more extra careful or i will ruined myself. Anyway this is just an introduction to the new year. Other issues will be updated soon.

Cinta manusia

" Love would brings you strength and happiness "

Pernah atau tidak kita terfikir bahawa kekuatan dan juga kebahagiaan yang dikatakan tadi adalah atas penderitaan atau penglibatan pihak lain? Setiap perkara yang dilakukan atau tindakan yang diambil dalam proses untuk mengecapi kebahagiaan dan juga kekuatan yang dimaksudkan melibatkan orang lain juga. Kadang kala ianya amat menyedihkan kerana demi mengejar cinta nan satu banyak pengorbanan yang dilakukan samada positif atau pun negatif. Jika pengorbanan tersebut adalah dengan meninggalkan tabiat buruk atau pun tingkah laku yang kurang bertepatan maka ianya adalah sesuatu yang bagus, akan tetapi bagaimana pula sekiranya tindakan yang diambil adalah dengan menyakiti serta mengerjakan perkara jahat? Inilah yang dinamakan masalah emosi di mana seseorang individu tidak dapat untuk mengawal kehendak berdasarkan lunas yang sepatutnya. Tindakan yang diambil merupakan jalan mudah atau jalan terdesak bagi mendapatan apa yang diinginkan.

Perkara yang sebegini tidak seharusnya menjadi ikutan dalam mengejar cinta dan cita. Ini adalah kerana kebijaksanaan seseorang manusia bagi mengatasi rintangan dan permasalahan yang timbul adalah sesuatu yang tidak boleh disangkal. Maka gunakanlah kebijaksaan yang diberikan oleh tuhan dalam menyelesaikan dilema yang dialami. Setiap apa yang berlaku pasti ada jalan penyelesaiannya kerana permasalahan yang timbul adalah sesuatu yang diciptakan dan bukanlah sesuatu yang wujud dengan sendirinya. Persoalan tepuk dada tanyalah selera tidak lagi praktikal kerana kemampuan manusia pada zaman kini sudah lagi tidak siuman. Tiap-tiap hari ada saja kematian yang dilaporkan oleh kerana rasa tidak puas hati dan juga gagal memiliki.

Baru-baru ini kita dipaparkan bagaimana seorang pemuda mati dibunuh hanya disebabkan cintanya ditolak mentah begitu saja. Jenayah tersebut dilakukan oleh seorang pemuda yang cintanya ditolak. Dari situ kita dapat lihat bahawa cinta terlarang kini juga sudah berani melakukan sesuatu yang extrem demi memenuhi keperluan diri. Satu lagi cerita adalah mengenai seorang jejaka yang dipaksa untuk minum racun oleh keluarga teman wanitanya dalam usaha mereka menyuruh jejaka terbabit meninggalkan anak perempuan mereka. Ini semua adalah sesuatu perkara yang kian menular dikalangan masyarakat kita pada hari ini. Dalam usaha negara menuju Malaysia Maju 2020, masih lagi terdapat manusia yang terkebelakang di dalam pemikiran dan juga percaturan kehidupan mereka. 

Permulaan kehidupan bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah diambil kira, oleh yang demikian, nasihat jujur saya adalah kepada ibu bapa yang inginkan anak, peliharalah mereka sebaik mungkin. Penuhi keperluan rohani dan jasmani mereka. Pemantauan kepada kehidupan sosial mereka bukanlah beerti menyekat setiap aktiviti yang boleh mengembangkan bakat atau pun potensi yang mereka miliki. Kepada ibu bapa yang kurang memberi perhatian kepada anak-anak pula, anda adalah seorang yang hipokrit dan juga tamak. Jujur dikatakan bahawa andai kata tidak pandai nak menjaga anak maka usahlah buang masa untuk melahirkan mereka ke dunia hanya untuk dicerca dan dipukul. Banyak pil perancang dan juga pencegah kehamilan, gunakanlah ia sebaik mungkin. Jangan digunakan alasan demi mencari sesuap nasi, kebajikan rohani dan jasmani anak-anak diabaikan. Ianya merupakan suatu alasan yang lapuk dan cabuk. Kehidupan keluarga saya menjadi timbang taranya. Dibesarkan oleh seorang penoreh yang terpaksa mencari sesuap nasi untuk suaminya yang buta dan juga anak-anak, bukanlah penghalang bagi ibu untuk memenuhi keperluan rohani dan jasmani kami adik-beradik. Masa tetap diluangkan bersama untuk berkongsi cerita dan juga berjenaka bersama. Hal anak-anak tidak pernah diabaikan dan gerak-geri anak-anak tidak pernah disekat namun begitu pemantauan tetap dilakukan agar tidak terpesong ke jalan yang tersasar. Bukan berniat untuk mengangkat sesiapa namun seharusnya setiap keluarga mempunyai perspektif yang positif dan juga rangkaian di dalam institusi keluarga yang di bina. Jika tidak seperti yang dikatakan tadilah, usahlah gatal-gatal untuk mempunyai zuriat kiranya tidak pandai untuk menguruskan mereka kelak banyak yang perlu dibereskan seperti mana topik yang dibincangkan, cinta manusia.
